Coffee, Cuddles, and Community: What’s Purring at Marcie’s Angels!

There is something truly magical happening at Marcie’s Angels Cat Cafe lately. Since we opened our doors in Glastonbury, our mission has always been to create a sanctuary where coffee lovers and cat enthusiasts can connect, but the way our community has rallied behind our residents has exceeded our wildest dreams. With nearly 194 adoptions since opening our doors in 2024 and 117 of those adoptions being in 2025,, the cafe is buzzing with success stories!! We are so excited to share what’s coming up next on our calendar.

We are particularly proud to celebrate a major milestone in our Riley’s Angels program. This special initiative was created to honor the compassionate legacy of Riley Hils DeRoy, focusing on finding homes for cats who might need a little extra patience and understanding. We are thrilled to announce our 7th Riley’s Angel adoption: the one-and-only Tucker! Tucker, a "spicy mystery" known for his big personality and specific boundaries, found his perfect match in a forever family that truly understands his quirks. Seeing a "project cat" like Tucker go from a misunderstood rescue to a beloved companion is exactly why we do what we do.

If you’re looking for a reason to visit us soon, our event calendar is packed with fun for all ages. Our newest event will be a Cat Bingo night, the ultimate way to spend an evening. There’s nothing quite like the tension of waiting for that last number to be called while a tabby cat tries to "help" you mark your card! For our youngest cat lovers, we are continuing our beloved Children’s Story Time sessions. We know that the cat lounge has an age limit for general visits, but Story Time is the perfect exception. We invite little ones to join us for a morning of gentle stories and songs, all while our resident cats roam nearby. It’s a wonderful way to teach children about animal empathy in a calm, controlled environment—and it gives parents a much-needed moment to enjoy a latte while the kids are entertained. Speaking of lattes, our seasonal drink specials are officially here! Our baristas have been hard at work crafting treats that pair perfectly with a afternoon of snuggling. From our signature lattes featuring beans from Perkatory Coffee Roasters to our many options of refreshing flavored brews, there is always something new to sip on.
