Bubs is a 2-year-old gray tabby built like a linebacker, but with the heart of a big, soft marshmallow. He loves treats (truly the way to his heart), top-of-head rubs, back-neck scratches, and those perfect side-cheek scritches. Hit the right spot on the back of his head and he’ll give you his signature piggy snorts — …brrrr…brrr…brrrr… — and might even plop onto his side in pure bliss.
Bubs is learning the joys of being an indoor cat and already has favorite comforts: sunny window beds, cozy cat naps, cardboard boxes, packing paper, couch lounging, and hanging out with the resident cat. If you’re looking for a silly sweetheart who plops over for scritches, Bubs is your guy! 🐾

Mr. T is a big, sweet, lovable boy with an even bigger heart 💛 We truly can’t believe he was ever returned to the streets — he is SO NICE. All he wants is love, attention, and a warm lap to call his own 🥹 He happily soaks up pets, sits right on your lap like he belongs there (because he does!), and will reward you with the sweetest companionship. And if you bring out the Temptations treats? You’ve made a best friend for life 😸✨
Mr. T is eating well and using his litter box like a champ 🐾 He can be a little enthusiastic with his digging (he is a big boy, after all!), so a larger litter box or slightly less litter can help keep things tidy. This handsome guy is ready to leave the streets behind for good and settle into a home filled with love 💕🏡
Charlie
Charlie is a 5-month-old little gentleman with the sweetest, most soulful eyes 🖤🐾 This bashful baby may be a bit shy at first, but once he feels safe, he absolutely melts for pets and attention. He’s the kind of kitten who quietly leans into your hand and soaks up every bit of love you’re willing to give.
Charlie would thrive in a quiet, calm home where he can continue to build his confidence at his own pace. Shirley Temple
Meet Shirley Temple! 💕 This sweet 6-year-old girl may be a little shy at first, but give her time and take things at her pace, and you’ll quickly see her blossom. Once she feels safe, she’ll be flopping over and offering the gentlest little head bumps for pets. 🥹🐾 Shirley has a calm, tender nature that makes earning her trust all the more special.
While she can be bashful with people, Shirley absolutely loves other cats! 🐱 She’s always curious about what her foster siblings are up to and will bravely step out of her comfort zone to keep an eye on the action. She also has the cutest permanently silly expression — thanks to a few missing teeth, her little tongue tends to stick out, and it’s completely adorable. 😋

Tuna Lynn
Tuna Lynn is a gentle one-year-old kitty with a sweet soul who’s looking for a patient home where she can truly blossom. She can be a little shy at first and may need some time to feel safe in a new space, but with kindness and patience, she slowly starts to show her affectionate side. Once you’ve earned her trust, Tuna Lynn loves soft pets and head scratches and will happily soak up the attention. 💕🐾

Smudge is a sweet and friendly girl who loves nothing more than being pet and soaking up all the attention you’ll give her 💕 From the moment you meet her, she warms up almost instantly with her gentle, easygoing nature. She’s a total lovebug who thrives on affection and will happily follow you around just to be near her people. Being close to her humans is truly her favorite place to be 🐾
This natural cuddler will curl up right beside you on the couch, in bed, or anywhere you settle in—she just wants to be part of the moment 🛋️ She’s also quite the little chatterbox and isn’t shy about striking up a conversation, especially if she thinks it might be dinnertime 🍽️ If you’re looking for an affectionate companion who will make herself right at home and fill your days with love (and a few adorable meows), Smudge is your girl 🐱✨
Neve
Meet Neve (pronounced Nay-vay), named after the Italian word for snow—a soft, gentle soul with a quiet kind of beauty 🖤❄️. This one-year-old fluffy black girl is as sweet as they come, with a silky coat that practically begs for gentle pets. Neve truly enjoys being around people and is learning more every day that she’s safe, loved, and right where she belongs 💕🐾.
While she may be a little reserved at first, give her time and you’ll see her tender, affectionate personality begin to shine. She tolerates other cats but would likely thrive in a calm, peaceful home where she can continue building her confidence at her own pace 🌿✨. Neve is the kind of cat who forms a deep bond with her person—quietly, sweetly, and so meaningfully.
Neve and her companion Nero were sadly displaced after a fire, and no one came back for them. Gonzo
Like so many of the felines at POA, Gonzo had a rough start in life. He was found in a parking lot—shy, hungry, with matted fur and in need of some TLC. But it didn’t take long for this resilient boy to blossom into a strikingly handsome, well-groomed, and endlessly affectionate companion ✨🐾 His transformation has been incredible, and now his sweet personality shines just as brightly as his beautiful coat.
Gonzo absolutely loves being pet, cuddled, and brushed, and he’ll gladly claim a place of honor on your bed, couch, or right in front of the fireplace on a chilly night 🔥 He’s a professional lap napper and a big fan of catnip, churros, and the occasional wand toy—or even an empty cardboard box 📦💛 Gonzo deserves all the love you can shower on him, and he promises to return it tenfold with purrs, snuggles, and unwavering devotion.
Franklin & Harriet
Double the love, double the purrs 🐾💞 Franklin and Harriet are the sweetest bonded duo you’ll ever meet — and they’re looking for a home together! Both kitties are incredibly lovable and friendly, though they can be a little skittish with loud noises or quick movements at first. Once they feel safe, they absolutely melt into you. They actually prefer to be picked up and held, and when they’re comfortable, they’ll rest their heads right on your shoulder like little babies. 🥹
Franklin is the curious explorer of the pair — he’s the first to venture out, check things out, and initiate playtime. Harriet is a bit more reserved and cautious, but she’ll happily explore too, as long as she can stay close to her safe space (and her people!). Franklin gives the sweetest neck hugs 🤗 and Harriet is known for her adorable face kisses 😽. And if you break out a laser toy? Game on! 🔴✨

Nola
Nola is a one-year-old sweetheart with the softest eyes and an even softer heart 🧡🐾 This little love muffin was a fabulous mama, and now that her babies are grown, it’s finally her turn to be spoiled. She has a playful streak and enjoys a bit of fun, but she’s just as happy to stretch out beside you and purr the day away while soaking up pets and attention.
